Privacy statement

This privacy statement covers the use of the Streamly app by Heresta. Streamly is a player that connects to an IPTV service of your choice.

Data you enter in Streamly and that the app saves, such as your login details and settings, is stored exclusively on your phone. The app uses this data to function, remember your settings and connect to your chosen IPTV service.

Heresta cannot access your locally stored data. You manage this data yourself on your own phone.

Streamly does not send personal data, usage data or diagnostic data to Heresta. Heresta has no servers of its own for Streamly and does not keep a copy of your app data.

Heresta does not share or sell your app data and does not provide its own cloud storage or synchronisation of this data.

To sign in and play content, Streamly connects from your phone to the IPTV provider you configure. The login details and requests needed for this go directly to that service, not to Heresta.

Your IPTV provider may receive data such as your IP address and the content you request. Its own privacy policy applies to its processing of that data. Local storage therefore does not mean that playback works without an internet connection or without exchanging data with your provider.

Your app data remains stored locally on your phone until you delete it. You can delete local app data using the options available on your phone, for example by clearing app data or removing the app together with its data.

Heresta cannot remotely access, modify, delete or restore this data because Heresta does not have a copy. Any backups made through your phone or operating system are governed by your device settings and the terms of that service.

Secure your phone to limit access by others to your locally stored data.

To access or delete data processed by your IPTV provider, contact that provider. You can also contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority with privacy questions or complaints.

If the way Streamly handles data changes, this privacy statement will be updated. The date at the top of this page shows when the statement was last updated.
